GATE 2027 registration में आज क्या बदला है?
Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) ने Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 registration का opening date 27 August 2026 रखा है। Eligible candidates को regular-fee period में 27 September 2026 तक form complete करना है। Official action GATE 2027 website से GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) पर होगा।
27 August को verification के समय official homepage registration status को Open दिखा रहा था, लेकिन visible GOAPS and Open portal links अभी '#' placeholder पर थे। इसका मतलब यह है कि schedule live है, पर candidate को active destination दिखने तक official page refresh/check करना चाहिए। किसी coaching, shortened या sponsored-search link पर personal details या fee submit न करें।
GATE 2027 की confirmed registration और exam dates क्या हैं?

GATE 2027 application fee कितनी है?
Regular period में female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwD) candidates के लिए fee ₹1,000 per test paper है। Extended period में यही fee ₹1,500 per test paper हो जाती है।
All other candidates, including foreign nationals, के लिए regular fee ₹2,000 और extended-period fee ₹2,500 per test paper है। Official fee page साफ करता है कि ये amounts one test paper के लिए हैं; two papers चुनने पर applicable amount twice pay करना होगा। Payment gateway के additional charges अलग हो सकते हैं, इसलिए final amount payment screen पर verify करें।
GATE 2027 के लिए कौन eligible है और age limit क्या है?
Current third year या undergraduate degree के किसी higher year में पढ़ रहे candidates apply कर सकते हैं। Government-approved Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts or Humanities degree complete कर चुके candidates भी eligible हैं। B.E./B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./BCA, M.Sc./M.A./MCA, integrated degrees और कई other listed programs के year-specific rules official eligibility table में दिए गए हैं।
Foreign degree candidates को eligible field में at least three-year Bachelor's degree के third or higher year में होना चाहिए, या degree complete होनी चाहिए। Professional-society qualification holders को अपने examination की MoE, AICTE, UGC or UPSC equivalence verify करनी होगी। GATE 2027 FAQ के अनुसार age limit और attempt limit नहीं है, लेकिन admission institute अपनी separate eligibility लगा सकता है।
GATE 2027 online form कैसे भरें?
Official homepage says verified DigiLocker registration is mandatory for all Indian nationals। DigiLocker record में name, date of birth, mobile number, email, address and verified identity details सही रखें। Academic admission बाद में institute-specific होता है; GATE form acceptance को admission guarantee न मानें।

- Indian nationals पहले अपना verified DigiLocker account तैयार या update करें
- One personal email and mobile number से registration शुरू करें
- Personal, qualifying-degree, paper and exam-city details ध्यान से भरें
- Recent photograph, live photo, signature and applicable certificates instructions के अनुसार upload करें
- Category and selected paper count के अनुसार fee review करके official gateway पर pay करें
- Final preview में name, date of birth, paper, category and cities check करें
- Submitted form and payment acknowledgement download करके सुरक्षित रखें
GOAPS link active न दिखे तो candidate क्या करे?
Official registration date आ जाने का अर्थ यह नहीं कि हर cached browser tab में portal immediately usable होगा। यदि IIT Madras page पर button खुलकर उसी page पर रहे, blank destination दे या '#' दिखाए, payment शुरू न करें। कुछ समय बाद official homepage को new tab में खोलकर check करें और status notification पढ़ें।
Search result में दिखे look-alike domain पर Aadhaar, DigiLocker consent, OTP, password or card details न दें। Correct route हमेशा gate2027.iitm.ac.in से शुरू होना चाहिए। किसी failure के बाद repeated payment से पहले dashboard status check करें। Portal activation time के बारे में IIT Madras ने reviewed pages पर separate clock time नहीं दिया है, इसलिए कोई unofficial activation time भरोसेमंद नहीं माना गया है।
Form submit करने से पहले कौन-सी checks जरूरी हैं?
GATE score postgraduate admission, possible financial assistance and some PSU recruitment में use हो सकता है, लेकिन qualifying GATE किसी admission, scholarship or job की guarantee नहीं है। The admitting institute or employer's own notification remains decisive।
