Technician eligibility और age limit क्या है?
Each post code requires SSC/10th or equivalent with Science subjects and minimum 55% marks, plus the matching ITI or National/State trade certificate. Minimum age 18 years and upper age limit 28 years is measured on the closing date, 4 October 2026। Category and service-based relaxations have conditions, including whether a post is reserved for that category; candidates should use the official age-relaxation table rather than adding relaxations automatically। Qualification and relevant experience must also be held by the closing date, and a claimed equivalent qualification needs the supporting authority order or letter described in the notice।
Application fee, pay और deadline क्या हैं?
The application fee is ₹500 through the prescribed SBI Collect route. SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), women and Ex-Servicemen pay no fee when the relevant supporting document is uploaded। A candidate applying for more than one post code must make a separate application and, where applicable, attach a separate fee receipt for each post code। Fee once paid is non-refundable।

Selection process और written exam pattern क्या है?
A Screening Committee may shortlist candidates and call them for a Trade Test based on the relevant job requirement। The Trade Test checks practical knowledge and is qualifying: only candidates who clear it can enter the Competitive Written Examination (CWE)। Final merit is based on CWE performance, not Trade Test marks। NGRI has not announced the Trade Test or written-exam date in this advertisement; later notices on the official website will control।
The CWE has three objective papers with 150 questions over 2 hours 30 minutes। Paper I is Mental Ability: 50 questions for 100 marks with no negative marking। Only candidates meeting the Paper I threshold have Papers II and III evaluated। Paper II covers General Awareness and English Language, 25 questions and 75 marks each; Paper III has 50 concerned-subject questions for 150 marks। Papers II and III deduct one mark per wrong answer, and final merit uses their combined marks।
